Development of DIV Elastic Railway Clamp

Project designated as "Development of DIV Elastic Railway Clamp" is co-financed by European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.

Through the R&D program within this project, the intention is to enable the development of functional innovative new product – DIV Elastic Railway Clamp, as well as its commercialization in global railway construction and maintenance markets. Key objective of the project is to develop elastic railway clamp that could be easily and economically produced and simple, quick and reliable for assembling/disassembling – providing long-lasting and reliable connection between railway sleepers and rails throughout its entire lifetime.

For successful realization of the project and fulfilment of its strategic objectives, high levels of scientific, expert and managerial team experience is a necessity. It is especially important to emphasize the scientific and technological quality of the project being a guarantee of significant contribution to Croatian science, technological development and innovation.

Project Development of DIV Elastic Railway Clamp directly contributes to an increase in R&D investments within the S3 Smart Specialization Strategy’s thematic scope of Transport and Mobility and more specifically, under the scope of Production of Parts and Systems of Significant Added Value for Road and Rail Vehicles.

Partner institution on the Project is University of Zagreb, Faculty of Civil Engineering.

Total eligible expenses amount to 23.509.968,26 HRK, of which EU co-financing amounts to 15.576.601,20 HRK. Project implementation period: 01.07.2018. – 01.07.2022.
